PROPOSED COMMITTEE BILL by Budget
Transportation; Transferring control of the Mid-Bay Bridge Authority system to the Florida Turnpike Enterprise; transferring all provisions that protect the rights of certain bondholders from the authority to the turnpike enterprise; providing for the proceeds of certain penalties to be deposited into the Highway Safety Operating Trust Fund rather than the State Transportation Trust Fund and for such funds to be used for the general operations of the Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles rather than for repairing and maintaining roads in the state, etc.
